Editing Assignments

Once content has been assigned, teachers can edit the settings of individual assignments from within the class.

To begin, open the desired class and click the gear icon next to the assignment you would like to edit.

From the assignment settings page, teachers can update the Start date and time, Due date and time, Notes, and assigned students, as well as add or remove retakes.

Editing Assignment Details

Students can be added to or removed from an assignment by selecting or clearing the checkbox next to their name.

To update the Start date and time, Due date and time, or Notes, select the students whose assignment you would like to update and click Edit selected. After making your changes, click Update and Assign to apply the updates.

Note: If the Start date or Start time is set in the future, the assignment will appear locked to the student until the start date and time begins.

Adding Retakes

You can assign one or more retakes to some or all students in the class. To do so, click Add Retake.

Select the intended student(s) and click Assign selected. You can then set the Start date and time, Due date and time, and Notes for the retake.

Additional retakes can be assigned by repeating this process.

Unassigning

Assignments and retakes can be unassigned from any or all students.

To do this, select the students whose assignments you would like to remove and click Unassign selected.

Warning: Unassigning is a permanent action and will delete any associated student scores and responses.
