Class Details

After an assignment has been added, it will be visible on the class details page under the All Assigned tab.

On this page, there is a quick view with several pieces of information regarding the assignment.

Assign 23

  1. Title: For lessons and projects, the assignment code will be formatted as follows: curriculum abbreviation (A for Algebra 1, P for Pre-Algebra, G for Geometry, A2 for Algebra 2, etc.), chapter number, assignment number, and assignment title.
  2. Type: This indicates the assignment type. For lessons, this will be either Application or Exploration, and for projects, it will indicate the industry. Assessments do not have different types.
  3. Career(s): The careers discussed and spotlighted in the assignment will be listed in this section. This is only for lessons and projects.
  4. Assignment Notes: If applicable, any assignment notes for the student(s) will be displayed here. This is only for lessons and projects.
  5. Due: The assignment due date and time will be displayed here. This is for all assignment types.
  6. Preview: To preview the recently added assignment, you can click either Student View or Teacher View. This is for all assignment types.

 

Assessments do not have assignment codes. The title will indicate the assessment type: Beginning of Year, Middle of Year, or End of Year.

Projects include some extra information on the class details page. Before Assignment Notes, the recommended implementation for the project will be listed in italics.

Once a student has completed an assignment and marked it as complete, the assignment will move to the All Completed tab.

On this view, the completed time stamp will be displayed with the date and time the assignment was submitted.

If an assignment has not been completed by the due date, Past due (in red) will be visible in front of the due date.

The class details page has several options for sorting the All Assigned and All Completed tabs by assignment type.

To change the filters, click the View drop-down menu and select an assignment type: All types, Lessons, Projects, or Assessments.

Assignment Settings Modifications

Once an assignment has been added, the parameters can be changed. To do so, click the gear icon next to the preview buttons.

The assignment settings page will then be visible. Here, any of the settings can be modified as needed.

To unassign or reassign a lesson, project, or assessment, deselect or select the student(s) by clicking the checkbox.

Once the necessary changes have been made, click Save to return to the class details page.
