The Interests Matcher helps identify and understand work-related interests, preferences, and motivations.
Finding the Matcher
Students can access the Interests Matcher from their My Career Page,
or from the P2C Home page.
Teachers can access the Interests Matcher from their My Career Page, available through the Shared My Career Pages page.
Taking the Matcher
Read the instructions and click Begin to start.
Read each statement and select how strongly you agree or disagree.
While taking the matcher, note the following:
- The next question will load automatically.
- Use Previous to review earlier questions.
- When all questions have been answered, click Submit.
Results will be displayed immediately and saved in the Matcher Results section of My Career Page. Students are encouraged to use their matcher results to explore careers by interest.
Teachers can view student results while reviewing students' Shared Career Pages.
Retaking the Matcher
To complete the Interests Matcher again, students can click Retake matcher from the My Career Page.
Students are encouraged to retake the assessment as often as they like to support ongoing career exploration.
Downloading Past Results
To view your previous results, click Download past results when viewing the results from the My Career Page.
