For instructions on how to locate the Student Scores page, refer to the Student Scores article.

Scoring and Leaving Feedback

Many question types (such as multiple choice, drag-and-drop, and fill-in-the-blank) are scored automatically. Other question types (such as open answer or file upload) must be scored manually.

To learn more about automatically scored questions, refer to the Auto-scored Questions article.

Teachers can manually adjust the score for any question by selecting the appropriate point value (0, 0.5, or 1). They may also provide feedback by entering comments in the Question Feedback text box.

Note: If you manually adjust a score, the value at the top will not update right away. It will update after you click Save Answers.

Once saved, the student’s score will appear on the Class Scores and Student Scores pages.

Retake assignments appear as multiple scores on the Student Scores or Class Scores pages. On the Scoring page, you can switch between retake attempts using the navigation controls or by selecting an attempt from the drop-down menu. Each attempt is scored in the same way as any other assignment.
