Formula Sheet

Above the question player, a curriculum formula sheet is provided for the students.

When the formula sheet link is clicked, it will be displayed in a new browser tab for the student to reference.

Open-Ended Responses

The student is provided a text editor to type in their response for open-ended questions. 

Basic text formatting, such as bold, italics, underline, lists, etc., is provided.

Formula Editor

A formula editor is also available.  From the text editor menu, click on the formula icon.

The Formula keypad will be displayed.

The top half displays the formula result and the information that will be inserted into the text editor. The bottom half is the editing section. 

For more formula options, click the down arrow above the number keypad to display the available formula types.

When the formula is complete, click Apply. The formula will then be inserted into the text editor for a response.

Table Editor

To add a table, click the table icon.

A table editor will display where the number of rows and columns can be customized.

Once the desired columns and rows have been inserted, click Apply to add the table into the text editor for a response.

Image Editor

For questions requiring photo upload, click the photo icon to add an image.

Once the correct photo has been selected, it will be inserted into the text editor for a response.

Multiple Choice Responses

The student has a list of choices below the question for multiple-choice questions.

The student clicks on their choice and proceeds to the next question or section of the assignment.

Question Navigation

If additional questions are in the section, click the Next button at the bottom. Click on the back arrow or Next buttons to navigate between questions.

Save/Exit

To save any progress made and resume the quiz at a later, click Save/Exit.

A confirmation message will verify the quiz has been saved. To return to the quiz at any time, click Resume

Full Screen

For clearer visibility, click Full Screen. Only the quiz player will display on the screen, making it easier to focus on the activity.

To exit Full-Screen mode, click the Full Screen icon again.

Submit

To submit all the answers at any point during the quiz, click Submit

A confirmation message will display to verify the answers have been successfully submitted.

Resources

There are various tools students can use while taking the quiz. These include a protractor, rulers, and a line reader. To access these tools, click Resources.

Once a tool is selected, drag/rotate it anywhere on the screen to use it.

Flag Item

To mark a question to return to later, click Flag item

A small flag icon will appear next to the marked question for quick visibility.

To unmark a question, click the Flag item button again.

Notepad

To write down any notes while taking the quiz, click Notepad.

A Notepad box will appear that can be dragged anywhere on the screen.

Here, you can minimize, expand, or exit out of the Notepad box.

Accessibility

To make the text easier to read, there are several Accessibility options. Click Accessibility to access the menu.

The color scheme and font size of the text in the player can be changed. Additionally, there are instructions on how to zoom in and out of the screen for easier visibility.
