Pathway2Careers (P2C) is committed to providing a positive experience easily accessible to all users. We strive to comply with the latest accessibility standards set forth by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and maintain a focus on accessibility for all new features and designs while continuously working through legacy releases.
Utilizing MathML and Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA) attributes, P2C supports assistive technology, such as screen readers, and closed captioning is available for all videos.
Users can further personalize the user interface of their assignments including:
- Choice of color scheme
- Adjusting font size
- Customizing zoom magnification levels
The line reader tool guides the reading experience by displaying a single line or area of text at a time so the reader can retain focus and fully engage with the material onscreen.

The widget's interface is designed to address accessibility requirements relating to the UI, design, and readability of P2C by enabling users to modify the site’s design to meet their individual needs.
Users can choose a disability profile like “Vision Impaired Profile” and simultaneously activate all relevant adjustments. Alternatively, or in addition to the profiles, users can enable singular adjustments like increasing font sizes, change color contrasts, stop animations, and more.
